Saudi Arabia Roaming Packages can be purchased while in Indonesia or after abroad. However, for convenience, it is recommended to purchase a package before departure.
The active period of the package starts from the date of purchase with an active period of 14 days. Example: customer activates the package on January 1, 2020 at 13:00 WIB, then the package will end on January 14, 2020 at 23.59.59 WIB
Packages cannot be renewed automatically, but customers can purchase the package more than once.
This package cannot be purchased together with the Singapore Malaysia 1GB Package, 1GB Asia Pacific Package, 3GB Asia Pacific Package, 5GB Asia Pacific Package, 5GB Around The World Package.
When you buy a package in Saudi Arabia and are in a country other than the list above, you cannot use internet services until you buy a package that is available in that destination country.
When the active period of your Package ends, you will not be able to use internet services until you have purchased a Package that is available in that destination country. Make sure you make a repurchase.
Make sure your Smartfren credit or credit limit is sufficient
Internet services use 2G / 3G / 4G depending on the Operator Partner's network
The use of international roaming services may exceed the customer's credit limit. Smartfren has the right to suspend service if the customer exceeds the usage credit limit.
To enjoy internet services while roaming, please activate the internet roaming function on your device before leaving Indonesia.
Customers may have to wait 5-15 minutes to get to the Operator Partner network the first time they turn on the device overseas.
Customers can experience high internet roaming usage due to automatic application updates or email downloads when the Data Roaming menu is activated. If you want to save on internet usage, you can deactivate the application's automatic settings option before leaving Indonesia
